I am looking to try out the Nov CTP of Azure and realise I don't have a token (I thought I did but can't find it). Where can I get a token to register and create a project?

You can get one by going to this page and requesting a new token http://www.microsoft.com/windowsazure/getstarted/

Thanks. I did go to this page but it is very uninformative. I clicked on the 'Request a token here' link but it just took me to another page and did not tell me if a token was sent or not. The whole signup process is very rough, hopefully they will fix before release or else they will struggle to get users. – Craig Dec 1 at 22:05
Try sending a twitter message to @Smarx that is what I did last time after I didn't get a token after 24 hours. – David Burela Dec 2 at 13:04

I tried to get token by registering on the web site. But I wait for more than half year without any response. It ended up with sending an email to the email address listed on the page, and, guess what, I get the token the second day.

Azure is now in production mode, i.e. there are no free development tokens. If you plan to host a service in Azure, or store data there, you have to purchase a subscription. See http://www.microsoft.com/windowsazure/offers/ for the various pricing models.
